Anyone can promise growth. What distinguishes a serious partner is how well they understand your specific situation before proposing anything. The questions they ask, and the problems they identify, tell you more than any presentation.
A few questions expose more than a credentials deck.
Promises of a specific multiplier or a guaranteed ranking are a warning, not a comfort. Genuine outcomes depend on the market, the offer and the starting point. A partner who explains uncertainty honestly is more trustworthy than one who removes it on paper.
Before any work starts, agree on the numbers that matter and where they will be visible. When both sides look at the same outcomes — qualified leads, cost to acquire, revenue — the relationship can be judged on evidence rather than opinion.
